The project, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, aimed at strengthening the process of data collection and analysis on the status of the artists,  establishing the principles for a new law on the status of the artist, raising awareness of policy makers and other stakeholders on the need to reinforce the status of artists and cultural professionals, and building the capacities of sectoral government agencies in cultural programming.
