Presentation
Instituto Criar, a Brazilian non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the socio-cultural and professional development of economically and socially vulnerable youth, uses the power of audiovisual storytelling to create opportunities. The project focuses on expanding possibilities for its former students by:
- Mentoring them to create and showcase storytelling projects with positive social impact.
- Providing support for the development of standout audiovisual initiatives.
- Sharing opportunities, resources and information about international projects that drive change.

Foster international collaboration and networks:
The project connects creative talents from vulnerable communities in Brazil with organizations in the United States, building a network of collaboration and promoting South-North and South-South exchanges.
Expand access to cultural creation and distribution:
By providing young creatives with mentorship, tools and resources, this initiative empowers them to produce and share audiovisual stories with both local and international audiences.
