Culture and creativity are the heartbeat of our societies

Thanks to Parties to 2005 Convention and their valuable contributions, the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) has supported 140 projects in 69 developing countries around the world since 2010.

The total voluntary contributions made by Parties to the IFCD demonstrate their shared dedication to fostering cultural diversity and sustainable development globally.

Make your 1% Contribution count

All Parties to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions are encouraged to donate at least 1% of their annual UNESCO contribution to the IFCD. Every contribution, big or small, makes a huge difference in the number of transformative projects the IFCD can support each year.

Your State’s donation to the IFCD directly empowers stakeholders in developing countries to promote cultural diversity and strengthen the creative economy.
