and UNESCO's Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM Report), are organizing a high-level consultation event in Latin America to collect feedback on the 2023 GEM Report on technology and education. The meeting, which will be held virtually, will allow interested parties - authorities, experts and representatives of the educational communities in Latin America - to reflect together on opportunities and challenges related to technology and education, based on the Concept Note of the GEM 2023 Report and the document Education and Technology: The Challenge of Sustainability in Latin America, produced by Fundación Ceibail. 

The activity will take place within the cycle Espacio Digital Fundación Ceibal and in the framework of the Alliance for the Digitalization of Education in Latin America (ADELA), coordinated by Fundación Ceibal and financed by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC Canada), in charge of sponsoring the event. In addition, the meeting is sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the World Bank (WB), the Inter-American Dialogue, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), UNESCO's Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC) and the Latin American Office of UNESCO's International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP).
