The of the People's Republic of China is organizing a consultation event to collect examples and evidence on education technology in China. 

Agenda:

  • Welcome remarks from NIES by Mr. Ma Kai (the Director of the Department For International Exchanges)- 5 minutes
  • Presentation of the 2023 GEM Report concept note by Mr. Manos Antoninis, Director, Global Education Monitoring Report- 10 minutes
  • Presentation entitled "Technology and Education: China's Development Path" by Dr. Zhu Xinyu, the vice director of Research Department for Statistics and Analysis of Education of NIES- 30 minutes. This presentation will be based on their recent work on China PEER profile
  • Roundtable discussion with participants- 40 mins

    • Prof. Gu Xiaoqing, Head of Department of Educational Information Technology, Faculty of Education, East China Normal University
