Ouafa is CEO at Culture Funding Watch, an organization that helps artists and arts organization gain understanding and information about resource mobilization and advises governments and funders implement and build smart financing strategies for the CCI. Ouafa has over has a strong background in supporting Cultural and Creative industries, having spent over 7 years working for governmental and non-governmental cultural institutions, including the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt and the EU delegation. She has contributed to several publications on the cultural and creative industries (CCIs), notably: the Cultural Policy Report Tunisia 2010, the Creative Economy Report with UNESCO 2013, and the Rapid Mapping of Cultural Policies in the MENA region 2019. She has also conducted leading studies on CCI and CC entrepreneurship, including feasibility studies for the creation of incubators and creative economy studies for EU funding programs. Ouafa holds four Master's degrees (History, Archaeology, Heritage Management, and an MBA). She has been recognized for her influence and impact, being listed among the 100 most influential creatives of African descent for 2021 and the 500 most powerful African doers for 2022. Additionally, she serves as the Creative Director at the Pan African Chamber of Commerce.
