Biography
Lara joined the GEM Report team in 2023 as a Partnerships and Operations Trainee, sponsored by the Basque Country Association for UNESCO (UN Etxea). Since then, she has contributed to the development of GEM report’s 2025-2030 strategy and supports the team’s resource mobilization and partnership management efforts.
Before joining the team, she worked as an International Relations Officer for the City Council of Bilbao, where she helped position the city as a leading actor in the localization of SDG. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Law, and a Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession.
