Dmitri Davydov oversees GEM Report’s partnerships, resource mobilisation and operations. Prior to joining the team in June 2021, he worked for over 14 years with UNICEF managing private sector engagement, global partnerships, and multilateral technical support to dozens of countries in public finance, policy development, quality management systems and innovation.
Previously, Dmitri served in DR Congo, Afghanistan and Timor-Leste with the UN Secretariat and UNOPS, supporting education, health, social policy, agricultural development, human rights, peacebuilding, humanitarian response, and community empowerment programmes. He led large teams and complex projects including the establishment of flagship inter-agency freight forwarding contracts, market-shaping partnerships for product and service innovations in ICT and health, and the management of emergency response operations in the Horn of Africa. His experience includes private sector roles in management consulting and marketing, as well as coordination of electoral systems support with OSCE/ODIHR. He holds university degrees from London and Moscow.
