In Januar the Council of Europe has started a project in Serbia on “Prevent bullying and per violence in schools” with Ministry of Education as our main partner. Implemented by the Council of Europe and funded by Germany, the project aims to support the prevention of bullying and peer violence in schools in Serbia and strengthen safe school environments based on European standards and practices.

An expert meeting is being organized at the CoE offices in Paris on 6-7 June where the representatives from the main government education institutions in Serbia (Ministry of Education, Bureau for Development of Education, Institute for Education Quality and Evaluation) will meet to discuss the key areas for intervention and the national assessments on the wellbeing of students, cyberbullying and other forms of violence in Serbia schools.

The GEM Report will present the key findings of the 2023 GEM Report and 2024 Gender Report on the effects of the use of technology in education in student wellbeing during this event.
