Launch of the 2023 GEM Report in China
The Zhejiang University, in collaboration with the UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office for East Asia and the GEMR Team is organizing a Seminar on 30 Novemeber to present the findings and recommendations of the 2023 GEM Report on technology in education in China.
The event is open to educational experts and officials from both China and abroad, including policymakers, scholars, educators, students and represenatives from ICT and private sector and aims to:
- Enhance understanding of how technology can drive progress towards SDG4.
- Highlight the opportunities and challenges related to the use of technology in education.
- Promote best practices in technology integration.
- Provide a platform for knowledge sharing and networking among experts, policymakers, and practitioners.
- Guide future policy decisions and initiatives related to technology in education at the national and international levels.
Another event will be organized in 2024 to launch the Chinese version of the 2023 GEM Report.
