Launch 2022 GEM South Asia Report on non-state actors in education
Building on the theme of the 2021/2 GEM Report, the GEM Report is launching a 2022 GEM South Asia Report on non-state actors in education.
The full-day event will bring together key stakeholders and representatives from organizations whose research helped informed the report to examine some of the critical arguments over efficiency and innovation as well as over equity and inclusion which form the background to a highly contested debate over the role of non-state actors in education in India.

Using the National Education Policy 2020 as a prism, the session will bring together speakers from both partner and other imminent institutions in the country to explore different dimensions of of non-state engagement in the education sector of the country. Accountability, government collaboration, state capacity, equity and quality of education are some of the broad themes that will be discussed by the speakers including:
