The GEM Report, and are organizing a consultation of the 2023 GEM Report on technology in education in Brazil. This virtual event will last 90 minutes and will bring together experts, policy makers, teachers and representatives from international and non-governmental organizations who will share evidence-based examples of the challenges and opportunities of using technology in education. The consultation event will focus on three main themes:

1.  Governance and regulations governing the use of technology in education in Brazil.
2. Policies to promote access to technology for vulnerable populations.
3. National and federal policies and laws to protect teachers and students from the negative effects of the use of technology in education such as cyberbullying and the use and protection of personal data.
