World Radio Day 2021 in Sudan
On 13 February 2021, the UNESCO Khartoum office in collaboration with the Sudanese Ministry of Culture and Information (MoCI), TV and Radio Corporation (STVRC) and National Commission for Education, Science and Culture (NatCom), organized the commemoration of the World Radio Day 2021. The event took place in the Al-Azhari Studio of the STVRC and attracted about 100 participants including about 30 women. This was 6th World Radio Day in Sudan.

The 1st Undersecretary in MoCI honoured the event, delivering welcoming speech among other prominent media experts and managers. Several Sudanese media veterans were awarded during the event.

4.5 hours of music and speeches were live broadcasted by the National Radio. 18 more radio stations, many TV channels and newspapers reported about event.
