UNESCO Director-General condemns killing of journalist Aladdin Ali Mohamed in Sudan
鈥淚 condemn the killing of Aladdin Ali Mohamed and call for a thorough investigation to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. Journalists and media workers are essential channels of information during a conflict and their safety must be ensured by all parties.
Aladdin Ali Mohamed was the Program Director for the local radio station Wad Madani. He was reportedly killed by an armed group during an assault.
