UNESCO High Level Conference on Women and Girls in Afghanistan
At its 220th session the UNESCO Executive Board requested the DirectorGeneral building on UNESCOs comparative advantage and core competencies in sector strategy and coordination for education to organize subject to voluntary contributions a highlevel conference at UNESCO in cooperation with partners in the first half of 2025 ensuring the effective participation of Afghan women and girls in order to draw greater attention to their situation with a focus on access to education continued schooling and completion of studies
