2025 Conference of Pacific Education Ministers in Papua New Guinea

GEM Report's Director Manos Antoninis will be giving a keynote speech on data and monitoring in the Pacific during the 2 taking place in Port Moresby on 18-19 March.
Under the theme, Transforming Edukesen for a Better Pacific, CPEM 2025 will gather Education Ministers from 18 countries which include Cook Islands, Fiji, the Federated States of Micronesia, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Australia and New Zealand.
The GEM Report has been invited to give as a guest speaker on day 2 after the keynote address from Hon. James Marape, Prime Minister of PNG. Manos presentation on the importance of data in education policy and decision-making will be followed by an open discussion with Ministers of education from the Pacific.
During the event, the 2024 GEM Report on technology in education in the Pacific will be presented as part of the activities organized by the civil society and youth on the sidelines of CPEM.
