Webinar on the document: ¿Se ha profesionalizado la función directiva en América Latina?
The event will be organised by UNESCO Santiago, the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, and will feature the participation of renowned researchers as well as educational policy experts from across the region. Among the panellists will be Javiera Peña, Francisca Maldonado, and José Weinstein, who will explore the main challenges and progress in the professionalisation of school leaders.
The webinar will take place on 21 October 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00 Chilean time. This seminar will not only provide insights into the study, but will also create a space for dialogue on the most appropriate strategies to improve school management. During the event, findings will also be presented that will serve as input for the 2024 Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report.
The study to be launched aims to provide detailed information on the training levels and working conditions of school leaders, offering a knowledge base that will enable the design of more effective educational policies. This effort is part of the commemoration of LLECE’s 30th anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to the continuous improvement of education in Latin America and the Caribbean.
