Data Collection and Capture Workshop. ERCE 2025 Study Pilot
The workshop program focuses on practical aspects related to the implementation of a large-scale assessment exercise. Fundamental topics are addressed, including logistics for data collection, development of procedures and application manuals, training of applicators, necessary coordination and tasks after data collection.
The training is divided into two learning components. The first part addresses aspects of data collection and procedures. The second part focuses on the use of specialized software for data processing and capture, with theoretical and practical sessions.
The Workshop's purpose is for participants to acquire practical knowledge linked to the execution of a large-scale evaluation program. The aim is to improve understanding of quality criteria for the data collection and capture process and to become familiar with computer support systems for application in the ERCE 2025 pilot.
The event includes a general presentation of the main stages of the process, including activities before, during, and after the application. Additionally, the regional and national operational structure and the specific functions associated with the teams working on data recording and the application process are addressed.
Also, information is provided on the sample framework and sampling, procedures for contacting Educational Centers, the call and selection of applicators, and the Application Manual and specifications of roles, functions, and activities are presented.
