XVII Jornada de Cooperación Educativa con Iberoamérica sobre Educación Especial e Inclusión Educativa

On the 13th and 14th of June, 2022, the XVII Annual Plenary of the Educational Cooperation Days with Ibero-America on Special Education and Educational Inclusion of the RIINEE was held in a virtual format, under the title "Teacher training for the inclusion of students with disabilities in Latin America: good practices and challenges", involving the ministries and secretaries of Education of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The XVII Sessions were organized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MEFP), the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago), and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and featured participation from the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science, and Culture (OEI), the ONCE Foundation for Cooperation with Blind People in Latin America (FOAL), and the Latin American Campaign for the Right to Education (CLADE), as well as delegations from the previously mentioned countries.
