UNESCO Almaty is seeking video animation specialists and/or organizations to create educational videos about cultural heritage of Central Asia
UNESCO Almaty Regional Office is seeking a contractor to prepare a series of 60 short animation videos (45-80 seconds each) in English and Russian languages to illustrate and provide educational content for the virtual exhibition representing outstanding museum objects demonstrating the cultural heritage of the Silk Roads.
This activity will be carried out as part of the 鈥Silk Roads Heritage Corridors in Central Asia 鈥 International Dimension of the European Year of Cultural Heritage鈥 Project of UNESCO Almaty funded by the European Union.
Virtual exhibition of the outstanding cultural heritage of the Silk Roads includes contributions from the national museums of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, each of which provided photos, 3D copies and descriptions of 10 unique museum artifacts manifesting the cultural exchanges and cultural legacy of the Silk Roads. The virtual exhibition is currently under development.
Selected contractor shall be responsible only for the technical preparation of videos including voice-over and translation in line with the scenarios provided by UNESCO Almaty. Final versions of all videos will be later shared in UNESCO Almaty social media.
Contract duration: May-July 2024.

Applications shall include concrete commercial proposal, portfolio of previous animation works/projects with concrete examples, any other information that might be useful for this call for applications.
