Theoretical–Methodological Seminar on Comparative Explanatory Regional Studies
This meeting is taking place in Caracas, Venezuela, and serves as a forum for analysis and exchange on educational assessments in Latin America.
The event is an initiative that will review the efforts of the Regional Comparative and Explanatory Studies (ERCE), led by the Latin American Laboratory for the Assessment of the Quality of Education (LLECE), a branch of UNESCO Santiago specialised in educational quality. The discussion focuses on the importance of comparative studies and their role in understanding educational processes, as well as identifying successful practices that can be adopted at a regional level.
An essential part of the seminar will address curriculum analysis methods, which are fundamental to ensuring that educational programmes not only meet academic standards but also reflect the needs and contexts of students.
