Learning Sessions on Education, Human Mobility, and Data-Based Evidence. Session 1: Towards a Traceability Mechanism. Monitoring the Trajectories of Students in Situations of Mobility? An Initial Feasibility Study

With the aim of strengthening the evidence base on education and human mobility, and enhancing technical capacity to integrate data on people in situations of mobility into national educational information and management systems (SIGED), UNESCO, the Regional Education Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (GRE-LAC), and other partners in the region are organising four online learning sessions between August and September 2024.

The sessions, titled 鈥淓ducation, Human Mobility, and Data-Based Evidence,鈥 will provide a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences to understand the initiatives and studies carried out by UNESCO, the Regional Education Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (GRE-LAC), and other partners in the region, focusing on the educational inclusion of people in situations of mobility.

These events are aimed at education policymakers; officials from education ministries in the region; government entities working to ensure the rights of people in situations of mobility; education professionals; researchers and academics; and representatives from non-governmental and international organisations.
