Towards ethical artificial intelligence in Ibero-America: good business practices and UNESCO recommendation

In May 2022, following the signing of a letter of intent between UNESCO and TELEFONICA, the latter undertook the commitment to co-lead the Council of companies monitoring the Recommendation, which together with UNESCO and other leading companies in the development and use of artificial intelligence systems in Ibero-America, will promote the implementation of the Recommendation promoted by UNESCO, foster the exchange of experiences and best practices, and strengthen technical capacities in ethics and artificial intelligence, promoting the development of ethical artificial intelligence that respects human rights in Ibero-America.

Within this framework, this webinar aims to present the UNESCO Recommendation on the ethics of AI and the initiatives that are being developed by TELEFONICA from the private sector, in order to promote a better understanding and interpretation of the different political, social and cultural phenomena around AI, as well as to propose solutions together with the private sector to the current challenges and learn how to take advantage of all the challenges of our current society.
