The rapid shift to distance learning has opened our eyes to the power of digital learning – but it has also highlighted many challenges. Inadequate infrastructure, poor quality learning materials, and a lack of digital skills, are among the greatest obstacles to quality distance education.

The Teacher's Talk: Caribbean Teachers navigating the digital turn provides a virtual space for teachers from the Caribbean sub-region to connect, exchange and share experiences among teachers, as well as lessons learned from adapting to distance education to empower teachers’ to be better equipped to teach online.
Five teachers from the Caribbean sub-region will share their personal stories of being a teacher during COVID-19, their biggest challenges and the lessons they have learned through Distance Learning and Teacher Training Strategies to effectively engage their students.
In a Q&A session, teachers from the audience will be able to engage with the five teachers to exchange ideas and share tips and tricks for digital teaching.
