However, while hate content and disinformation on the Internet are on the rise, ensuring that people have access to verified and trustworthy information has become extremely difficult.

This is where Media and Information Literacy comes into play as a crucial tool for mitigating potential harm to democracy and human rights.

The time is now to promote Media and Information Literacy for all. Be among the pioneering policymakers to enroll in this self-paced Massively Open Online Course.

Every government can strengthen its ability to formulate national Media and Information Literacy Policies. It is also important for educational institutions, news outlets, digital platforms, libraries, and other institutions to incorporate Media and Information Literacy in their policies, programmes, and products.

“Deep Dive for Policymakers into Media and Information Literacy”, a newly launched Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), is designed for policymakers, government officials, technocrats, managers, heads/executives of private or public institutions, who wish to gain a comprehensive understanding of Media and Information Literacy.
