Scope of the assignment

Under the overall authority of the Director of the UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office in Bangkok, the oversight of the Chief of the Section for Educational Innovation and Skills Development (EISD), the contracted institution is expected to undertake the following assignments during the contract period:

1) Conduct preliminary needs analysis through consultations:

With the facilitation of UNESCO Bangkok, the contracted institution will consult with and seek inputs from the elite TEIs and other relevant stakeholders to understand the needs and capacity of the teacher educators in the Philippines and Thailand to ensure the relevance and pertinence of the training workshops. the contracted institution is expected to deliver a preliminary needs analysis report.

2) Design and develop the training workshops for teacher educators: 

The contracted institution is expected to design and develop the training workshops for teacher educators based on the needs analysis and project objectives. The expected deliverables of this assignment include a full set of training materials, expected outcomes, and corresponding indicators of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to follow up on the effectiveness of the training workshops.

3) Facilitate the organization of webinars to support the continuous sharing of knowledge and practices among teacher educators:

The contracted institution will prepare discussion topics for the webinars and support UNESCO project team to moderate the webinars. The objectives include briefing updates, sharing experience, collecting feedbacks, clarifying doubts, and providing guidance for next steps.
