Universities in Kyrgyzstan will explore the potential of the UNESCO Massive Open Online Course on Access to Information Laws and Policies and how it could serve as a part of the platform for journalism education.
International Day for Universal Access to Information
Recognizing the significance of access to information, the 74th UN General Assembly proclaimed 28 September as the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) at the UN level in October 2019.
Kyrgyzstan's Journalism Education Platform
Four universities formed a National Journalism Education Platform, utilizing resources generated by IPDC's Global Initiative for Excellence in Journalism Education.
