29 School Principals from Ninewa trained on PVE-E

With support from UNESCO, the Ministry of Education trained 29 School Principals (14 females) on the content of Prevention of Violence Extremism through Education (PVE-E). The workshop was led by UNESCO-trained master trainers from the General Directorate of Education of Ninewa. The 2 days training workshop equipped the school administrators and principals with knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for them to support for teachers to implement play-based and other related activities in their classrooms to cultivate resilience against the drivers of violent extremism and build sustainable peace in their communities.
