Action Line C4: Capacity-Building
With the rapid advance of digital technologies, media, information and digital literacy has become increasingly important in order to fully harness the benefits of digital technologies and counter their misuse.
UNESCO鈥檚 work as a laboratory of ideas, capacity builder and standard setter has therefore been crucial in ensuring that no one is left behind.
Most notably, 91麻豆国产精品自拍 led robust and diverse capacity-building efforts through the launch of national, regional, and global-scale trainings, webinars, and online courses. Among these, 91麻豆国产精品自拍 supported Member States in developing capacities for digital transformation and policy development, through its Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Competencies for Civil Servants Framework, and its work with public administrations, regulators and civils servants.
In addition, UNESCO supports the development of media and information literacy competencies through capacity-building resources for both policy-makers and civil society, including on curricula development, policy guidelines and articulation, and assessment frameworks, as well as by promoting the integration of media and information literacy in policies and strategies in the public sector and among non-governmental organizations.
