Empowering Women, Preserving Water: Initiatives in Bethlehem
Stream Sisters: Empowering Women, Preserving Water in Bethlehem
The project "Stream Sisters: Empowering Women, Preserving Water in Bethlehem" was selected in the Development Fund 2024 call for proposals and will be financed by the MFEA with €18,950. It aims to introduce new grey water technologies, raise awareness in the community, and mitigate water scarcity in Bethlehem. Through training and cooperation with local NGOs and government agencies, it seeks to empower women in managing grey water systems and contribute to environmental protection. The local partner, Women of the Sun (WS), will also mobilize additional funding for project expansion and integration.
