Digital technologies in the culture sector

The digital transformation is reshaping all cultural domains, creating both opportunities and challenges. New technologies are expanding access to culture, transforming the sector, and increasing the availability of cultural goods and services. This shift also enhances knowledge, documentation, safeguarding, and promotion of heritage, while stimulating creativity and innovation. 

Open dialogues between stakeholders are crucial for developing solutions to the ever-evolving digital landscape. Developing skills to leverage new technologies for employment in the cultural sector, as well as enhancing fair access to digital platforms, are indispensable.
