Pix, partner of UNESCO's Global Skills Academy

Founded in 2016 in France, Pix is a non-profit organization which brings together stakeholders involved in education and professional training. 

Pix is the platform that enables everyone to cultivate their digital skills by allowing users to: 

  • Assess their digital skills through online tests and challenges, from beginner to expert levels  
  • Develop their skills through a formative assessment approach and access to online tutorials 
  • Enhance the value of what they have learned with the Pix Certification. 

Since joining the GSA as one of its founding partners in July 2020, Pix has supported young people in their learning and professional journey. Among the projects implemented within the scope of the GSA mission, key projects include : 

  • Contributing to develop and promote digital skills of learners in technical and vocational education in Tunisia 
  • Assessing the digital skills of students coming from three high schools in C么te d鈥橧voire.

The training course in detail

Users can choose to work on the competence they prefer to develop, either in line with their field of study, the skills they need in their job, or their personal preferences. 

Pix questions are practical and challenging exercises that invite participants to find the answer using the Internet and the tools at their disposal and stimulate their desire to learn. Questions are designed to test what the users know, what they can do, and their ability to identify what is at stake.

鈥淭he trainees start assessing themselves in class, then finish at home. The trainers then analyze the results on Pix Orga and take them back collectively in class. Trainees are motivated by the fun and practical nature of the tests, and the results are very useful for trainers.鈥
