Promoting Social Inclusion and Diversity
Social and Human Sciences Unit, UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok
Last update:8 November 2023
The Non-discrimination and Equality agenda remains very high in UNESCO鈥檚 work as well as in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. More specifically, attention will be paid to the intersectionality approach to vulnerability, combining gender, disability, poverty, ethnicity, and marginalisation. Three particular groups will be targeted in this Programme that will seek to give voice to the invisible, to advise policies, and to accompany social movements for change.
- Women and girls
- Persons with disabilities
- Indigenous peoples
