Podcasting has become a popular way to listen to cultural content in the twenty-first century. It is a unique form of production and distribution with its own audience-building systems. As a form of mediation and an increasingly extended practice, it has become an essential part of the intersection between culture, economy, technology and society. The global podcast industry is generating significant income. It has proved to be resilient during the COVID-19 pandemic being, in fact, one of the cultural services in the highest demand during social confinement.
How can young Caribbean artists and cultural professionals harness the opportunities of this industry? How can they create sustainable podcast projects? How can podcast creators benefit from exchanges with their peers in Europe?
