UNESCO is organizing a series of webinars to discuss the importance of system strengthening in higher education and empowering higher education as a tool for inclusion in response to emergencies and protracted crises, and connecting the humanitarian and development nexus.
The first webinar will focus on the UNESCO Qualifications Passport initiative and will discuss the importance of recognition and how it can serve as an entry point for system strengthening in higher education particularly in crisis contexts. The webinar will feature discussions from prominent figures relevant to the initiative and will provide a multifaceted and comprehensive discourse on the topics at hand.

The UNESCO Qualifications Passport (UQP)
The UNESCO Qualifications Passport (UQP) is a global education initiative to help bridge the humanitarian-development-peacebuilding nexus. By tackling the key challenge in the recognition of undocumented prior learning and knowledge, the UQP serves as an entry point to develop a comprehensive and inclusive higher education ecosystem in crisis situations and to enable a transition to work for the most vulnerable youth.
