UNESCO Global Conference "Internet for Trust"
Global Conference
Taking forward the on Information as a Public Good, UNESCO will host a global conference gathering ministers, regulators, judicial actors, the private sector, the UN family, civil society, academia, intergovernmental organizations and the technical community from around the world to shape digital platform regulation. The leadup to the conference and the event itself will offer a forum for multistakeholder consultations of a guidance for regulating digital platforms for actors seeking to regulate, co-regulate and self-regulate digital platforms, with the aim of supporting freedom of expression and the availability of accurate and reliable information in the public sphere.

Guidelines for Regulation
The draft 1 of the “ is publicly available in the conference's website. We are welcoming your inputs and observations. The guidelines for regulating digital platforms have the aim to supporting freedom of expression and the availability of accurate and reliable information in the public sphere.
The deadline to receive your inputs to draft 1 was 20 January 2023.
Thank you very much for your contribution at this stage of the consultation.
We are currently analyzing all the comments received and will soon be sending a 2.0 draft to all Internet for Trust Global Conference participants.
This new draft will be widely discussed on February 22 and 23 in the framework of the conference.
