UNESCO, FAO and the United Nations Global Compact in Brazil jointly discuss the value of water

UNESCO, FAO and the United Nations Global Compact in Brazil jointly celebrate World Water Day during a webinar taking place on 23 March 2020 to discuss the 鈥渧alue of water鈥.
The webinar in Brazil will highlight the importance of water, focusing primarily on the agricultural sector and its contributions to the sustainable management of water. this precious resource. In addition, the event will focus on the main findings of the "United Nations World Water Development Report 2021" (WWDR 2021).

Despite the difficulty of attributing an objective and indisputable value to a resource which is fundamental to life, it seems necessary to examine water鈥檚 various dimensions in order to understand the various aspects of its 鈥渧alue鈥. This is especially true in times of growing scarcity and against the backdrop of population growth and climate change.
