Mobilizing different stakeholders (academia, community representatives, international organizations), it will develop a common understanding of restorative justice from enslavement, and advocacy for its implementation.

This side-event will provide a first set of reflexion for a dedicated dialogue series on restorative justice from enslavement, to be developed jointly by UNESCO Routes of Enslaved Peoples programme and the Guardian Foundation later this year, in the framework of the programme's 30th anniversary.
