Regional webinar on national benchmarks for SDG4 in the Caribbean

In collaboration with the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago), the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS), and the Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM Report), this webinar will bring together education experts, statisticians, and country officials to delve into the importance of these national benchmarks.
Seminar objectives:
Present and analyze the results of the "".
Update the status of benchmark setting in the region and highlight the achievements made to date.
Introduce the new indicator on school connectivity, addressing its importance in the current context of digital transformation in education.
Provide a forum for discussion on regional procedures for establishing and submitting national benchmark values to the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS).
The webinar for Latin America will take place on August 10, 2023, from 2 to 3 p.m. for the Caribbean (GMT-4).
