Project
Razdelny Sbor
In launching the Razdelny Sbor movement, Tatiana Nagorskaya wanted to engage Russian citizens in tackling environmental challenges often considered beyond the reach of an individual. She decided to involve them in ecological activities, such as selective collection, which allows them to act and become aware of their contribution.
Act on waste management
It starts by involving individuals and then moving on to engage local communities, companies and public authorities. This movement accompanies and raises awareness among citizens about new consumption and waste management practices. It helps to install containers for the collection of recyclable materials, and organises campaigns to collect recyclable materials in all the neighbourhoods of Saint Petersburg. Now, the movement is spreading. These volunteers become ambassadors introducing new habits in their communities, in their workplaces and beyond.
Starting in St. Petersburg, the movement has already spread to Moscow, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Sochi, Surgut, Cherepovets, etc. More than 20 regions are impacted by the actions of The Razdelny Sbor, which aspires to make environmental awareness and sustainable living more relevant in Russia, at the individual, local and national level.
