Portuguese Biosphere Reserves celebrate the 50th anniversary of the MAB Programme
In the framework of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of UNESCO's Man & Biosphere Programme, the Portuguese National Commission to UNESCO and聽the Politecnico de Leiria, in partnership with the Portuguese Network of Biosphere Reserve, are hosting the webinar "Biosphere Reserves as Sustainability Laboratories: Working for a Better Future".

The event will feature speakers from various Portuguese and transboundary biosphere reserves, as well as Anabela Trindade (Portuguese National Commission to UNESCO), Eduardo Carqueijeiro (Secretary of State in Nature Conservation, Forests and Territory Planning) and Maria Rosa Cardenas (MAB Secretariat), among others.
It will take place on 3 November 2021, from 14h00 to 18h00 (CET).
