On 29 May, Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Paraguay, Eladio Loizaga, to sign an agreement between the Republic of Paraguay and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization concerning the international seminar “Empowerment of the local language speakers, communities and nations” taking place 3-5 July 2018 in Asunción.
