The programme Transcultura: Integrating Cuba, the Caribbean and the European Union through Culture and Creativity, implemented by UNESCO and funded by the European Union, in collaboration with and , invites you to participate in the online Zoom event Leveraging business models of digital marketing and advertising in the Caribbean and Europe to be held on Wednesday 22 November 2023.
In today's competitive business landscape, digital marketing and advertising have become essential components of any business’ strategy. With the ability to reach a vast audience, engage with customers in a more personalized way, and track and measure results businesses that invest in digital marketing and advertising are more likely to succeed in today's digital age.
This online event is aimed at young creators, entrepreneurs and culture professionals and seeks to tackle the business models of digital marketing and advertising initiatives and projects in the Cultural and Creative sector. Specifically, it will explore how these initiatives and projects can benefit from the ongoing growth of the advertising industry. It will focus on two thematic sessions:
Session 1: How can digital marketing and advertising make a difference in the culture economy?
Session 2: Digital marketing and advertising in the crossroads. Opportunities and challenges for collaboration across the Atlantic.
The event will have simultaneous interpretation in three languages (English, French and Spanish).
About the Transcultura programme
Transcultura: Integrating Cuba, the Caribbean and the European Union through Culture and Creativity is a programme that harnesses the rich cultural diversity of the Caribbean and turns it into a driver for sustainable development through exchange and cooperation in the region and with the European Union. It is based on capacity-building and the creation of opportunities for young culture professionals from 17 Caribbean countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.
