The Group of Friends for Education in Emergencies is co-convened by Switzerland and Haiti and includes core member states: Germany, Canada, Colombia, UAE, Ethiopia, Japan, Lithuania, Niger, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, and Türkiye.
The Group of Friends for Education in Emergencies will not only serve as a dedicated forum for dialogue and mobilization around UNESCO’s positioning, engagement and resource mobilization in emergencies and crisis situations but also a great platform for awareness raising on the global crisis situations, sharing UNESCO’s achievements and challenges, and bringing onboard key partners.
