Join the Global Airbus Innovation Webinar!

How do innovators breakdown the challenges of creating sustainable solutions for the future? On Tuesday 11 March at 18.00 – 20.00 CET join Airbus live online for a global webinar on the vast array of unique innovations used to build aircraft today. Learn how professional innovators breakdown the challenges of creating sustainable aviation for the future and put your questions directly to the Airbus hosts.

This webinar is part of the first ever Airbus Innovation Week, held with support from the UNESCO Engineering Initiative and hosted at the University of São Paulo (UCP), Brazil, by the Polytechnic School and Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism. Airbus, the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer, has teamed up with UCP to deliver a week of inspiring workshops and seminars all about innovation. This event is part of the prize awarded to the winning team of the Airbus Fly Your Ideas 2013 competition. Team Levar, comprised of students from the University of São Paulo, won the biennial global challenge, run by Airbus with UNESCO patronage, with their proposal for a luggage loading and unloading system to reduce the workload of airport baggage handlers with an air cushion solution inspired by air hockey tables.

Students, faculty and researchers at USP will discover the tools and techniques that bring innovative ideas to life within global industry. The week activities include a presentation of the UNESCO Engineering Initiative, a UNESCO workshop on engineering innovation for sustainability and a presentation by the Fly Your Ideas winning team. This event provides a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills with the guidance of two Airbus Innovators and the UNESCO Engineering Initiative leader, who will challenge participants to apply their ideas to real industry situations and will share their own insights on the cutting edge technologies that are influencing aviation today.

Register to join the Global Airbus Innovation Webinar on Tuesday 11 March at 18.00 CET.
