Through the International Programme for the Development of Communication (IPDC), UNESCO Kabul promotes social environments where media are free and independent, reflecting the diversity of societies to contribute to peace and sustainable development, as well as advocacy and psychosocial support for journalists, increasing female journalists' technical capacity and awareness of digital security, hate speech, and conflict-sensitive journalism.
