The interim Teacher Competency Framework (TCF) is expected to be operationalizable in the ongoing emergency context and easily adaptable in dynamic settings. In addressing the emergency context, it sets up the foundation for any rapid response to the teacher issues, paves the way for teacher assessment and policies, lays the landscape of teacher training and mentoring, and guides a teacher support mechanism as well as related developments.
