The celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Routes of Enslaved Peoples project in 2024 will provide an opportunity to take stock of and measure the project’s achievements and impact, and define its way forward. The findings of the discussion will inform the development of a questionnaire that will be forwarded to Member States to share their vision and engagement for the project and its 30th anniversary.
The information meeting will be moderated by Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences of UNESCO.
