IHP-IX: Operational implementation plan
The Operational Implementation Plan of the (IHP) is based on the . This Strategy has five interrelated and intertwined priority areas and 34 Outputs: the changes that UNESCO’s Member States are expecting IHP to achieve in the world. Under each Output, key activities are designed to deliver the expected result.
In total 150 key activities are considered in the IHP-IX Operational Implementation Plan. Together with the Strategic Plan, it is a visionary document to be collectively delivered by the “UNESCO Water Family” (Secretariat, National IHP Committees, UNESCO Centres and Chairs), in cooperation with the UN system and partners.
UNESCO’s Division of Water Sciences facilitates the overall delivery of IHP-IX in partnership with Members States, in line with the Programme and Budget () and the Medium-term Strategy 2022-2029 () of UNESCO.
