This event will inform UNESCO's evolving right to education initiative, which seeks to explore how the right to education could be further reinforced and expanded to meet evolving needs in support of the Transformation of Education Agenda.

This closed two-day event (for invited participants only) will bring together leading thinkers, practitioners, and experts (including young experts) in human rights law and education. Through robust discussions held under the Chatham House rule, participants will delve into the persistent and emerging issues that threaten the full realization of the right to education.

Key topics on the agenda include the impact of privatization, digitalization, and crisis situations on educational inequalities.
